Yoga Rave is best described as an unusual party. It arises as a new concept in entertainment, where the body responds to the stimuli of the music, yoga and meditation alone, with a heterogeneous concurrence, both young and old, from the most diverse styles and backgrounds.

The party begins with Yoga, the ideal warm up to a good night, and continues with a beginner-proof meditation, in order to get the audience ready for a slow musical transition. There is also a bar like no other in the city filled with energizing, natural alcohol-free exotic drinks.

On the first of July, Argentine independent filmmaker Inés de Oliveira Cezar presented her newest picture, The Recount of the Damages, and to complete her experimental trilogy cine artecinema will be playing Foreigner every Saturday of July and The Hours Go By every Sunday.

Every Saturday and Sunday during the month of July the Malba will be presenting Marcos Berger's "Plan B", a tale of love and revenge. The film begins shortly after Bruno has been dumped by his girlfriend. In an attempt to ruin her new relationship with a photographer named Pablo, Bruno creates a ridiculous and obsessive plan to seduce the innocent Pablo who has admittedly been with another man.

Voluntario Global, an umbrella NGO that helps manage other non-profit oranizations in Buenos Aires, is putting on an afternoon of music to raise funds for Querubines a group that runs three orphanages at risk of closure.

The work of Robert Mapplethorpe rolls in to Buenos Aires today to launch the very first presentation of the artists infamous life in photographs, 130 photographs taken between 1975 and 1988, everything from his portraits of flowers to his dive into the New York City S&M scene, and dare we say, a curious bullwhip ?
