Ulises Conti is a composer, multi-instrument musician, sound artist, and producer whose music spans many genres. He has done work for film, theater, dance and audio installations. As a critique of consumerism and the commercialization of culture, Bercic transforms the usually sacred rock garden, replacing its natural and organic  elements with synthetic, day-glo, plastic materials. The work, in this contemporary context, reflects the artist's interest in the cuteness (kawaii) of Japanese product design and Anime. It also reveals his fascination with medieval manuscript illustrations and draws heavily from his own imagination.

The most celebrated film by French writer and director Marguerite Duras comes to Fundación Proa in its original 16 mm format. The movie recreates the tragic love triangle that involves the wife of a French ambassador in colonial India during the 1930s.
